25 Years, One Unwavering Mission: PM Modi’s Leadership Has Elevated India’s Global Stature, a force to reckon with, says Dr. Vijay Kalantri, President, All India Association of Industries (AIAI) and  Chairman, MVIRDC World Trade Center Mumbai.

“The completion of 25 years of continuous leadership by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is a significant milestone in India’s governance journey. Over these years, India has witnessed far-reaching transformation across infrastructure, digitalisation, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion and global engagement. The challenge before us now is to build on these foundations and accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a competitive, self-reliant and developed economy by 2047. I’m sure under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi we will reach our intended targets,” said Dr. Vijay Kalantri, President, All India Association of Industries (AIAI) and  Chairman, MVIRDC World Trade Center Mumbai congratulating Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the completion of 25 years in public office.

Dr. Kalantri further added, “I have had the privilege of knowing the Prime Minister since he entered into politics. Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership has never been about holding office alone; it has been driven by a clear vision and mission for India’s transformation. His leadership has received recognition across the world, with numerous countries conferring upon him their highest civilian and state honours. These recognitions also reflect the growing stature and influence of India on the global stage. As Indians, we take pride in the position our country commands today as a nation whose voice is heard and whose capabilities are increasingly respected. Under his leadership, India has emerged as a force to reckon with in the global economy and international affairs”.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi completed 25 years of continuous leadership as head of government on October 7, 2026, marking a journey that began when he assumed office as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001 and subsequently continued at the national level as Prime Minister from 2014. His political journey has been distinctive in that he became Chief Minister of Gujarat before being elected as an MLA for the first time and later became Prime Minister in 2014 upon being elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time.

To commemorate the 25-year milestone, the Union Cabinet adopted a resolution congratulating the Prime Minister, highlighting developments during this period across infrastructure, economic reforms, technology, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, welfare delivery and India’s global engagement. The milestone reflects a quarter-century in executive leadership, with the national focus now increasingly directed towards achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Dr. Kalantri observed that the Prime Minister’s tenure has coincided with a significant transformation in India’s economic landscape. Initiatives such as Make in India, Digital India, Startup India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, together with GST, infrastructure expansion, digital public infrastructure and manufacturing incentives, have contributed to strengthening the environment for enterprise and investment.

Looking ahead, Dr. Kalantri emphasised that the coming two decades will be decisive for India, “On this milestone, we extend our best wishes to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and look forward to the next phase of reforms and development that can realise India’s immense economic potential. We stand ready to contribute towards the national mission of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047 under the dynamic leadership of Shri Narendra Modiji,” Dr. Kalantri concluded.
