Mr. Vijay Kalantri condoles the passing away of Hon’ble President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Mr. Islam Karimov

In a condolence message addressed to Mr. Aslam Akbarov, Charge d’Affaires ad interim, Embassy of Uzbekistan, Mr. Vijay Kalantri, President, All India Association of Industries said, “I am deeply saddened to hear the demise of our Hon’ble President, H.E. Mr. Islam Karimov. He was truly a great leader and ruled the country for 27 years. H.E. Mr. Karimov always supported the welfare and development of the people of Uzbekistan”.

During his tenure, H. E. Mr. Karimov was instrumental in strategically steering the state out of collapse of the Soveit Union and its achievements in the global world.

H. E. Mr. Karimov shall be remembered for his contribution towards the economy and welfare programs for Uzbekistan. He always believed in giving clear directions and led stress on implementation of policies for better growth and welfare of people at large. H.E. Mr. Karimov 27 years of tenure since independence will always be a landmark in the history of Uzbekistan.
