India made history yesterday, 23rd August 2023 as our Chandrayaan 3 smoothly landed over the Moon’s South Pole where no one has ventured so far. India became the 1 st Nation to achieve this feat at one tenth of the cost incurred by other nations who have undertaken similar missions. Indeed, India has taken a giant leap in the Space to explore infinite possibilities for humanity and to help the earth sustain for the future.
Dr. Vijay Kalantri, President – All India Association of Industries (AIAI) and Chairman – WTC Mumbai, has expressed his gratitude to our deserving scientific community led by the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi without whose unrelenting efforts this success would have been further delayed.
AIAI on behalf of the MSME sector, salutes the team ISRO, Scientists, Industry, Technicians and all the service providers who have achieved this success marvelously. Dr. Kalantri, echoed our PM’s remarks ‘Sky is Not The Limit’ to express confidence over our huge talent bank to reach higher postures ahead.
Today, the real work begins as the Pragyaan Voyeger sneaks out of the Vikram Lander to explore the surface of the Moon for the next 14 days when the Sun shines over the Moon using Solar Power. We hope for exciting finds including water and life sustaining possibilities. ISRO has planned further ambitious programs like Gaganyaan, Shukrayaan to begin our Inter Planetary Missions. We wish them all the best.
All India Association of Industries (AIAI) hope that the industry especially the MSME sector will take the lucrative Space industry seriously and develop ventures around it. We send our best wishes.
