INDIA WIN GOLD MEDAL IN JAVELIN THROW AT THE WORLD ATHTELE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023.

Our Javelin Champion Neeraj Chopra has won the Gold Medal at World Athlete Championships 2023 held at Budapest recently throwing a distance of 88. 17 meters in the finals. Pakistan came second with 87.22 meters. All India Association of Industries (AIAI) congratulates the World Champion for this achievement.

Dr. Vijay Kalantri, President – All India Association of Industries, while expressing his happiness said, this medal will encourage our youth to choose sports as a safe career. He said India is blessed with the largest young population in the world. He feels, our government must boost sports more proactively to encourage the youth to excel in sports at World level.

AIAI also congratulates India’s 4×100 Relay Team Stars Muhammed Anas, Amol Jacob, Ajmal Variyathodi and Rajesh Ramesh who have created a new Asian record timing of 2.59.92 at the World Athlete Championships reaching the finals for the first time. Dr. Kalantri, while congratulating these champion athletes said, they will motivate our youth immensely.

Dr. Kalantri, further emphasized that the government must create world class sports training and championship facilities across the nation especially in smaller towns to encourage the rural youth. He further stressed that the Government must appoint only reputed, experienced sportspersons as the Heads of Sports Federations, Associations instead of politicians and those without sports background. This policy will greatly improve the performance of sports persons and the ranking of India globally.
